this is place has good location, cute bungalows located on the small beach- but the access to to water is not easy.. needs some improvements for sure. Even with water shoes, it hard to pass the shallow water with all the corals. in deeper water it is ok - sand

We loved our stay here! We found everything clean and organized.
There was a bottle of Tahitian wine, 2 typical necklaces and very charming towels arrangement upon arrival! So lovely touches! We had almost all we needed to cook some meals and breakfast! It was a dream to have our meals on the porch table with the lagoon view! Everything worked properly. The house was silent and we slept very well!
Cintia was always easy to contact and ready to help in any matter.
Having bikes is huge bonus. We went everywhere in Avatoru with them.
To reach the water from the house you have to walk over some rocks and reefs, so don’t forget your water shoes. Once in the water, you can have nice snorkeling experience!
Also we literally walked from the airport to the house. It was very easy!

Our stay at Le Coconut was an exceptional one. Our room was spacious and clean and had air conditioning which was lovely. Breakfast was simple, but delicious and we had dinner at the pension two evenings and those meals were equally delicious. The property has a small beachfront area with breathtaking views, long chairs, hammocks and a subbed. They also have paddle boards, kayaks and bikes. We lacked for nothing. Also, I had some uncommon requests given unforeseen circumstances and Audrey went out of her way to help me. I could not recommend Le Coconut more highly.

The location of these unique Domes is perfect! Right on the Tiputa Pass, next to Chez Josephine (a boutique property where I have also stayed on a previous visit). The relaxed atmosphere, outdoor shower, beautiful location, and unique dome tent make this a very special place, and it is a good value too!

There isn't much to do but Dive and relax.
There isn't much to do but Dive and relax. The diving is amazing in the Tiputo Pass. We used The 6 Passengers and Top Dive and while the experiences were quite different, we enjoyed both. Top Dive is a small, quaint shop that we could walk to from Kia Ora and The 6 Passengers was a large operation with fantastic deck and nice facilities. They offer lunch between dives if you want to order. We booked 6 Dives in 2 days and expected different dives. What they don't tell you is that they go to the same dive site every time, but depending on the currents, it feels like completely different dives and didn't mind it. From lazy reef diving in the morning with eagle rays, sharks and lots of fish. to Super fast, slightly technical drift diving and swimming with Dolphins, Mantas and Napoleon Wrasse in the afternoons. We had too many underwater magical moments to list them all. If you are planning multiple days and expect different dive locations, you may want to research before committing so you aren't disappointed, but we didn't mind. Every dive seemed different.
