Halifax is a very fun city. We were there 3 nights.
Halifax is a very fun city. We were there 3 nights. There are lots of things to do from museums, walks along the harbor and just wandering the streets. There are a variety of good food options for everyone. Everyone we met was so nice and helpful. We especially enjoyed the Maritime of the Atlantic Museum, waking along the harbor, the Public Gardens, and the Farmers Market on Saturday. There was so much more of the city and Dartmouth that we didn't explore.Guest review byPatriciaUnited States - Review score

For its size, Baddeck really has a lot to offer, with great little restaurants - the High Wheeler Bakery was awesome! They have a place where you can hear authentic Scottish music. They have the Alexander Graham Bell Museum. They are next to the Cabot trail. We used the Tripvia auto tour for the trail and it was so helpful - it played automatically as you approached each area and gave the history and what to watch for at 50 spots along the trail.Guest review byLindaUnited States - Review score

When I left (For the second year running) there are no facilities to obtain refreshments if you have a long wait. (I arrived because of check out time 11:30 and the flight did not leave until 16:45) That is a long wait without the ablitly to have some refreshments.Guest review byAnthonyUnited Kingdom - Review score

Be sure to go to Burncoat Provincial Park (about 30 min away) and walk on the ocean floor during low tide. We went to Captain Murphy's for dinner - staff was great and food was good. Fish was well cooked. It was raining most of the time we were there so we didn't tour the town muchGuest review byMichelynCanada - Review score

I did not like the shampoo and conditioners bottles.
I did not like the shampoo and conditioners bottles. Too hard to squeeze. But the room was great. It was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great. And the people who worked there were very professional and nice.Guest review byDebraUnited States - Review score
We both love the town and the sights of a working harbour.
We both love the town and the sights of a working harbour. The food is amazing at least what we got to partake as our time was limited. We ate at The Sydney Street Pub and Cafe which was a wee walk from our awesome B and B. The waitress was wonderful as we were kind of rushed time wise to attend a concert on Long Island and had to factor in a ferry crossing time as well as the drive there. Will definitely come back to this charming eclectic town.Guest review byKimCanada - Review score

This charming village is a perfect location to explore west side of the Cabot Trail, among many the Skyline trail. There are several good restaurants (a bit $$) and a lovely Cafe (Marguerite). Like all over in Nova Scotia, people are welcoming and friendly.Guest review byLuciaCanada
