Boasting 7 food and beverage options, and its own aquarium, Prince Hotel is right next to JR Shinagawa Train Station, from where Haneda Airport is only a 25-minute train ride away.

The main attraction is the fabulous Aquapark! We visited it twice in our three-night stay. There were different shows and a wedding - unforgettable impressions! Breakfast was at four different restaurants for our choice. There many shops including a great 7-11 - never expected it may be so amazing! Finally - we had a million-dollar view of the Tokyo Tower!!!

Conveniently located within a 3-minute walk from Shinbashi and Shiodome stations, The Royal Park Iconic Tokyo Shiodome is modern and stylish accommodations.

We have used this property for going in and out of Tokyo Haneda airport for a few years. The transport via train is easy to Shinbashi station (not monorail) The staff are kind and generous. The breakfast is a great value. Wonderful view of Tokyo Tower too. There are quite few cultural attractions within walking distance for distraction upon landing to keep you awake.

FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

Great Trains, public transport, Asakusa is lovely, authentic shopping street, Meiji temple is wonderful and the pagoda, Shinjuku is vibrant and worth a look but keep your wits about you, watch out of touts (not Japanese’s) trying to get tourists to follow them To bars etc, them want money from them etc… I personally don’t understand why a cross road Is a tourist attraction with Shibuya crossing ? Shibuya & Shinjuku are both Good area’s for music, arts and audio shopping, nice cafes very vibrant, alternative cafes & love hotels & adult clubs & bars , Akihabara is awesome for electronic & gaming shopping, and guitar street is amazing for musicians, Team Lab planets is for kids, Disney parks are great, the Trains and Shinkansen are awesome and easy to work out after a few days and getting lost once or twice 😝, Ginza had some not tourist friendly areas, very snobby area, high End shops, not a s friendly as some other areas. Restaurants and cafes and bars are inside - underground or upstairs, we prefer alfresco type bars and cafes and we found the no smoking anywhere outside strange but you can smoke inside, and in designated areas, I don’t smoke but my husband does and it made things very difficult at times.

Tokyo is incredibly interesting and vivid metropolis offering numerous attractions. It’s extremely safe which is very important to all travelers. It has many very interesting areas so one can easily spend each day at different places. Gastronomical offers are just amazing. And above all local transport (subway and railway network) is fantastic.

Tokyo is a fabulous city to visit.

Tokyo is a fabulous city to visit. We stayed in Shinjuku at the beginning of our trip and Asakusa at the end, both for a few days. We explored these areas but know we'll have to come back again as there is so much more to explore in this city. It's easy to get round by underground and train and also a great place to walk. The food is delicious and excellent value and there are so many places to visit: the gardens and temples are beautiful. If you like shopping then you also wont' be disappointed.

trip needs to be logistically well organized, although city is well accessible thru metro and public transport but distances are very long. Must see is Tokyo tower as it gives you a fair idea on Tokyo evolution since WW2. Emperor palace, museums around are very good. Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku areas are great but need to organize the activities around them

Great location in the middle of Shinjuku, close to bus and subway stations. Also close to Shibuya and to shin-Okubo, the Korean neighborhood. Nice restaurants and convenience stores close by. Clean and nice hotel with a luxurious touch. Nice toiletries., well lit room. Even though the room is quite small it is well distributed and the fact that you can store luggage under the bed is key! If you book this hotel make sure to get the right name/address because there are 2 or 3 APA close to it (this is more like an advice, not an issue!)

The room has lots of amenities. It has a sauna, jacuzzi and even karaoke. Lots of interesting facial and skin product samples. Very near the metro ( Higashi Shinjuku). I took the skyliner and Oedo line from Narita to the hotel ( took 1.5hours ). I flew back from Haneda. Left the hotel at 2.15pm. Took the metro (Oedo line and Asakusa line) to Haneda airport. Was in the lounge by 3.45pm. The staff were very kind and attentive. They have English speaking staff and were quick to respond to my requests.

Location was great, especially for those exploring Shinjuku/Shibuya. Very vibrant nightlife. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Stayed in a standard double room -- non-smoking. My husband and I thought the room was a perfect size for us. This is not always the case being an American traveler in Japan, as Japan's hotel rooms are much smaller.

Staff were friendly. Hotel was nicely decorated and clean. Laundry service was easy to use but some guests took a long time to remove their clothes from finished cycles although not the hotels fault. The area around the hotel is fantastic! The park is beautiful. It’s quiet and calm and only a short walk from Shinjuku station.

Cozy little hotel. Perfect location near Nezu metro station. Just a few minutes walk to Ueno Park and Yanaka Cemetery. Perfect service. Pleasant atmosphere. The spirit of the shitamachi from the Edo period can still be felt here.
