The city has grown so much since my last visit 25 years ago.
The city has grown so much since my last visit 25 years ago. Felt safe walking around certain parts of the city and it was so nice. From watching the bats at sundown to the concert we attended at the Moody. So much to do in so little time.Guest review byV - Review score

Everything was great, we chose this location because we hadn't stayed here yet and we stay at the Embassy Suites when ever we travel, this location has moved to the top of our list, staff were absolutely awesome, give everyone a "RAISE "(lol), way to go Hilton.Guest review byRagsdaleUnited States - Review score

Fredericksburg is one of my family’s favorite hill country spots to go. The atmosphere downtown is unique in that small town feel. The shops on Main Street are nice, as well as, the local taverns with their local bands. There are military museums and wineries to experience whatever your flavor may be. We enjoy walking Main Street sampling the various shops and eateries. I highly recommend a visit to Fredericksburg 🤗Guest review byU - Review score

We loved the historic areas, the river, the German food and the entertainment. New Braunfels used to have a genuine small town feel, but now it has been overly commercialized and the traffic and parking are a nightmare.Guest review byBarbaraUnited States - Review score

San Marcos is a nice town it's that Motel that has poor management. We have been having to stay at a different more expensive Motel. Until we find a home to rent. I wouldnt recommend that specific Motel 6 not even for my worst enemy. Thats how bad management is at that Motel. As long as that old rude lady continues working there. I know I'm not the only customer you'll have lost because of her. So good luck . I'm making it a priority to tell everyone I know not to go to that Motel 6.Guest review byRiosUnited States - Review score

We went to SPARE BIRDIE one mile away from the hotel and so loved it there! Golf simulator, games galore and just a fantastic place! Serve was outstanding. Sara was our waitress when my husband was having fun with the RANGE section of the golf simulator; we ordered smoked oysters, which were great and the spicy cauliflower--super terrific, and the artichoke/spinach dip (if you love cream cheese you will love it) along with wine (HAPPY HOUR--$6) and a Blonde beer...everything was perfect! Oh on Fridays if you arrive at 11am you can purchase a $30 wrist band and play anything there till 3PM! (At least at this point) We returned in the evening and were seated outside by Sara (she is amazing) and absolutely WENT NUTS/LOVED the Desert Highway band under the night sky--weather was perfect as well. My husband ordered an onion jam burger and said it was a 10!!! BTW the dirty, spicy martini was outstanding as well...they brought me fresh jalapeno slices to add!!! Check out DEALS and plan your FUN DAY AND NIGHT THERE...YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Darts, pool tables, bowling!!!)Guest review byNancyUnited States - Review score

Location was great close to all my family, but next time I’ll stay at the Holiday Inn express across the parking lot. Batteries are low in the remote faucet and the bathtub almost fell off and the clerk when I tried to check in early was very rude and very curt.Guest review byAnonymous - Review score
The downtown is both historic and also larger than most...
The downtown is both historic and also larger than most Texas historic downtowns and included multiple blocks rather than one street. It was lively with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping places, as well as people sitting in folding chairs on the courthouse yard just enjoying the night. We went to a place that had people ages newborn to 90 and also had patron’s dogs, so everyone was welcome and it made for a better experience. I have already told several friends that they need to visit Georgetown because it was so much nicer than it seems in online posts. Parking was free and they had two attendants who showed us where the available spaces were. The entire city is clean and feels very safe. I’m looking forward to returning and plan to stay an extra day just to see the sights. I highly recommend if you’re anywhere near the area!Guest review byToniaUnited States - Review score
We love everything about Kerrville.
We love everything about Kerrville. If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you! There are so many things to do and places to see. The park is beautiful with wildlife everywhere! You can fish or swim or kayak the river. Downtown has so many neat little shops and places to eat. I can't pick just one favorite thing about this town; I love it all!Guest review byAnonymous - Review score
We love visiting Marble Falls!
We love visiting Marble Falls! As musicians and winter Texans, we perform along the way to our ultimate destination, the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. For the past three winters, we have made a stop at the Marble Falls Senior Activity Center for a performance. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! We absolutely love the community of Marble Falls! We always enjoy a delicious meal at the Real New Orleans Style Restaurant upon every visit. Outstanding food and service! Marble Falls is such a scenic place. A must visit!Guest review byDarlene
