It’s an outstanding location in the heart of downtown Sydney and easy walking distance to The Rocks. The rooms are gorgeous and so comfortable. The button controlled curtains are so cool, and the blackout aspect is very effective. Our room, 2001, had a great view!

A must is the view from Circular Quay Railway station, its th best free view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Harbour and Opera House. (Local secret if you want an even better view) head towards the Oprah house as you get to the lsat ferry wharf under the Cahill express way you'll see a lift that looks like it goes nowhere, but it takes you up to the Cahill Expressway. from there you'll have 360 degree views of Sydney city, bridge and harbour.

Ferries, trains, trams, buses to anywhere you like.
Ferries, trains, trams, buses to anywhere you like. Download the public transport app to plan your trip. Oh and the bridge the opera house and if you're lucky one of those massive cruise ships will be in. They are like floating cities, quite a sight. There's usually some street entertainment in the area too.

It’s a bit of walking.
It’s a bit of walking. Especially if you are going to the opera house as well. So travel light. If you have small kids (or a tired Grandma) take one of those fold up beach trolleys ($75 from Kmart) those things are priceless when lugging kids and stuff around! (And tired Grandmas)

Everything is a stone throw from the Quay view Opera House, walk over Sydney Harbour Bridge, The Botanical Gardens, Lady Macquarie's Chair visit the historical Rocks have a beer in the oldest pubs in Sydney a few claim to be.
Macquarie Street is a walk up the road there is an amazing amount of history in this street, the first signs from penal colony to a colony, might be best during the week where you can access some of the buildings.
If none of that suits just sit and enjoy the worldof circular key coffee and watching the world go by

The room was quite spacious, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a good size and modern. The hotel was very central for our needs., a short Strole to Darling Harbour and also to Circular Quay. The QVB is only one block away which was great for shopping and a place to have a snack in the many cafes.
Town Hall railway station was one block away and even the light rail was easily nearby.
This is a great city hostel close to Museum Station for the train to the airport and LRT to Circular Quay. The staff were lovely; the facilities were good (I loved the rooftop patio area); the toilets and showers were clean; and the bed comfy.
Location here is perfect - in the middle of the harbor, Circular Quay and right by the metro.
Staff are friendly and very helpful. We left our luggage after checking out the last day - couldn't have been easier.
Second time staying here. This time we stayed on the 4th floor in a studio apartment. Previously we stayed on the 3rd floor in a 1-bedroom apartment which was nicer and quieter. Laundry services are also available here.
Great host, nice apartment, comfy and cozy room. I enjoyed my stay and had a pleasant and quiet time in this apartment. 20 to 40 min drive to Circular Quay (around 70 AUD). Ferry is close by, which takes 1 h 20 min. So many asian restaurants as well.
We had a beautiful one bedroom apartment with a balcony. The location was perfect! The Circular Quay, the botanical gardens, and the Sydney Tower Eye were all just a 10 minute walk away. There is a Woolworths grocery store at 60 Margaret but it is difficult to locate. Take the escalator down two levels.
The view of Sydney Harbour from our room was fabulous! Could see the Domain and the top sails of the Opera House. Easy walk to Botanical Gardens and Art Gallery, St Mary’s Cathedral. City Bus to Bondi, Circular Quay, and shopping just in front of Hotel. Bonus! The steam room great to unwind and relax. Staff were all extremely helpful.
Elizabeth 202 is located right near central train station and a short walk to the tram line. Perfect for getting down to Pitt street or circular quay and all the restaurants in the city. The beds were very comfortable, has a very warm inviting feel to the hotel. Breakfast was simple and delicious.
