Situated in Deshaies, 600 metres from Grande Anse Beach, Caraib'Bay Hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The location in Deshaies within walking distance of the Grande Anse beach is ideal. The hotel is well situated for exploring further up the coast of Basse Terre towards Sainte Rose. It was a short drive to the gorgeous beaches of Les Amandiers and La Perle. The lush property is gorgeous and the pool is perfect for cooling off or just hanging around if you want a quieter day, however there are mosquitos. The included breakfast at the beautiful outdoor patio was good and was a continental style with fruit, granola, toast, cheeses and sliced meats, buns, homemade cake, juices, coffee, fresh pastries, local jams, yoghurt and pancakes one morning. Scrambled eggs and espresso coffee were available for a fee. I asked if lactose-free or plant based milk was available and they had soy milk. This is picky but another option like almond, oat or lactose-free cow milk would be appreciated. The staff and owner Christophe who we met are super friendly and eager to please. It was nice to see that Christophe rolled up his sleeves and did shifts alongside his staff. They did make efforts to speak English which was appreciated and was on par with our French and we were able to communicate just fine. They have put together binders in French and English of things to do and recommended restaurants which was a nice touch and they were eager to answer questions and help guests make reservations if necessary. Any issues we had were quickly resolved with a smile. Guests also receive a welcome cocktail upon check-in which was also great. The two-level villas are great for families and there were lots of families with young kids there during our visit due to a school holiday in France. We were a couple and this arrangement would be have been great for us when our kids were small. There are free ranging chickens and roosters as well as a few resident cats roaming the property which added to the atmosphere.

Situated in Saint-François and with Mancellinier Beach reachable within 80 metres, Hôtel La Christophine features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a restaurant. The location was perfect for exploring Grande Terre. The rooms were lovely; the pool area divine. The breakfast (and the dinners) were great value, served with attention and care. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, helping us to plan our two weeks in Guadeloupe, and showing great patience with our limited language skills (primarily English, with only a bit of French.) When our travel plans to Marie Galante were disrupted, their help was essential to keeping our vacation on track.

Exellent starting point for many hiking trips around. Verieties beaches around acessible by short or long hiking. Restaurant is fantastic. The whole place is very welcoming. The owner is out of the box, taking care of everybody's needs. All staff exeptionally nice. We had 6 days of very nice stay. Highly recommended

Very friendly and helpful owner. Made us feel very comfortable on our arrival and gave us lots of useful information about places to see and visit. Setting was lovely.

This property features a plantation-style décor, free WiFi access in all areas and public parking without a fee. Hôtel Amaudo also has an outdoor pool, garden and terraces. Pool in best view. Stuff was just perfect. Air condition was great. We enjoy it alot.
