Very nice hotel. I recommend it to everyone. Good location, with plenty of indoor and outdoor parking. The service was great, especially from the young lady named Ebony at the front desk. She was very pleasant, extremely helpful, had a beautiful smile, and was always in good spirits. Ebony, it's the perfect person to set the table for the start of a beautiful vacation.

We like going to Key Largo in May because the ocean really lays down flat, perfect for snorkeling & boating activities. Plenty of good seafood restaurants and bars with live music to choose from. It's a water world paradise.

We enjoy Key Largo for the many great dining choices available and the proximity to John Pennekamp as well as Robbie's Marina and other iconic must do Florida Keys visits. You will find some of the best snorkeling and diving here, as well as fishing options.
Key Largo is also a great spot to begin from for any plans to drive to Key West. My wife and I drive down from Central Florida and spend a few days first in the Key Largo area. This allows us some rest from the long drive and a chance to enjoy the island before heading out all clean an refreshed first thing in the morning.

Not great access to good beaches.
Not great access to good beaches. Key Largo didn't have a town feel about it. Just a long row of tourist shops and restaurants. Our experience was hampered by the fact that the main road was undergoing major roadworks which meant that going further south would get us into major traffic on the way back. This meant that we skipped our planned visits to Marathon and Key West. Theatre of the Sea was a big hit with all the family and a must if you like the sea life.

Key Largo may be small, but it offers a charming mix of unique shops, friendly locals, and incredible outdoor adventures. Whether you're snorkeling in its crystal-clear waters, kayaking through scenic mangroves, fishing, or simply soaking up the laid-back island vibe, there's something for everyone. Plus, its prime location makes it a perfect gateway to Miami, the Everglades, and the rest of the breathtaking Florida Keys. And no trip to Key Largo is complete without indulging in a slice of the famous Key Lime Pie from Mrs. Mac’s Kitchen—it's the perfect taste of the tropics!
