We travel from New England to Arizona and back every winter and this location is our go to between Tucson and San Antonio. Very close to the interstate with lots of services nearby. A lot of history in El Paso. I enjoyed the Magoffin home historic site, the scenic drive, the mission trail. I also visited the US border patrol. Stay on the East side of town, not the West, cuz it’s ghetto as f. You definitely don’t feel safe there. Last time I loved it, but I stayed at Clarion on Ft Bliss base.
