We liked that it had an old style to it and wasn’t a typical hotel. Now, if you are after the standard shower, key card, and usb lamps next to the bed, this might not be for you. We liked that it was outside of that typical realm.

If you're into gambling and glitz staying on central main street is recommended since casinos are everywhere. If you're more into the historic aspect of Deadwood I would stay on the outskirts of town. Away from main street is beautiful. Moriah cemetery and the historic Adams house are worthwhile visiting, but they don't allow pets and I don't know of anyplace there that will board your dog for a few hours so you can tour the town.

Deadwood is our favorite place for a quick getaway.
Deadwood is our favorite place for a quick getaway. We always have a great time and meet great people. The staff at any establishment is top notch. The one downside is the parking. If your hotel doesn't have designated parking or if you are just coming to town for a day, parking can be challenging sometimes. The Brothel Tour is great. We enjoy Friendship Tower.

Very good restaurants in the area... Silverado casino restaurant .. buffet in lower level .. Deadwood Miner's restaurant.. . those are just 2 that stood out . We thought the bus was a bit pricey .. $2.00 pp one way .OK if you are not indulging . Our thoughts if your inclined to walk do so .. Great walking for the "strip"

Great town to visit.
Great town to visit. With all the things to see and do, I could have used 2 more days to visit. My first impressions on the internet were I didn't see the big draw. When I got there I was over impressed with all to see and do.

Love the town! Everything is in walking distance; food, drink, gambling.
Free alcohol when gambling too makes it a fun town.
We always stay at the Bullock Hotel. The all you can eat buffets are great too!

The hotel is beautiful and cute, with great location and polite staffs. My king studio was clean and tidy. I can feel the owner has put lots of effort to maintain a good and comfortable environment for customers !
Excellent. I felt like at home. Thank you all so much for such a friendly and cozy environment. I enjoyed my stay very much. If I return to Deadwood, you'll be my first choice.
