Loved our stay at Wayside Inn! Property is right across the street from the beach and a little stroll to haystack rock. On the south end of town, away from the crowds.

This room was a sweet, compact, efficient space for our little family of 3. The highlights were the giant jetted tub and the amazing proximity to the beach not far from Haystack Rock. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. Not a lot of frills, just a homey space to lay our heads down for the night.

Access to the beach with our dog was easy. The kitchenette was nice to have for breakfast and cold beverages on the beach and balcony. Town was great...and you can even carry your beverages around with you outside.

Located within 1 block of the ocean, and 3 blocks to the town of Cannon Beach, this hotel features rooms located around two garden courtyards. All rooms feature a fully equipped kitchenette.

The room was very cozy, spacious, and had a relaxing spa tub. We were so glad to have a place to rest that was within walking distance of the beach.

    Cannon Beach is a beautiful, clean and cozy little town. We only spent 2 days and that was much too short. It is a small town with many shops and restaurants. Our hotel was right on the beach. Our room had an amazing view. Thr Webbs Scenic Surf owner was very kind and accommodating. We will definitely return very soon. What I loved is you can walk through the whole town right from our hotel. There are several great restaurants and shops.

    Cannon Beach has been a favorite of mine since childhood.

    Cannon Beach has been a favorite of mine since childhood. Bruce's Candy Kitchen a must! Although most people like to shop, I prefer to walk the long beaches, listening and watching the waves, stopping for the tidepools at Haystack Rock and always looking for photo ops.

    Beautiful area.

    Beautiful area. Wonderful walking beach and loved the Haystack Rock Awareness Program volunteers; it was great to walk out during low tide and see all the sea life. There are lots of restaurants to choose from and the quality is good. Also lots of nearby parks and natural areas to explore and visit.

    This area is very friendly especially accommodating for people with dogs. Easy access from Highway 101 & finding the Ocean Lodge. Shoulder season is less busy so we really enjoyed our stay with not too much crowding and excellent weather.

    Gorgeous beach, dog-friendly and walkable. Great sunsets. The town of Cannon Beach is small but charming, with a variety of interesting galleries, shops, as well as good coffee and an excellent bakery. A fun place to while away an afternoon or two.

    The beach is beautiful, one of the best in Oregon and Washington. Several great food and drink options: Mo's is always good, MacGregor's Whiskey Bar is laid back and nice, Sleepy Monk Coffee is busy, but has great coffee and pastries.

    a very affordable stay by the beach in comparison to other offers around cannon beach. the bed was very comfortable and the room had all I needed. I got in late, but just in time to have dinner at mo's chowder with ocean view. just across the inn there's a grocery store and a couple mins walk up the road there's a lovely coffee shop for breakfast. I felt like this was a perfect stop over for my road trip, would come back again if i'm in the area.

    The location is great for walking to the beach, art gallery/cafe, Cannon Beach hotel has a great bistro. That was really good. I loved the frogs croaking in the outside pond! The cottages are very cute to look at! Our #2 cottage was clean The cottage was well-equipped with microwave, toaster oven, fridge, cutlery, dishes, etc.

    The bed was super comfortable. We loved all the windows in the unit and the shades on the windows were so much nicer than the usual draperies in hotel rooms. There was a sofa and two chairs in the living area so plenty of room to relax in the evenings. The kitchen was nicely laid out and well equipped.

    Location! There is almost no better location to Haystack Rock on Cannon Beach. Access to the beach was fantastic and close enough to walk into "town" for restaurants. The staff was welcoming and we enjoyed the warm chocolate chip cookies.
