Very clean area. Quiet, peaceful. Perfect for families and couples and retirees. Staff at restaurants, hotel and retail establishments all very friendly and show they appreciate your patronage. Really a great place to go if you're not wanting a lot of loud partying going on around you. Several great restaurants. I suggest The Sandbar, The Salty Pelican, Salt Life, The Happy Tomato to name a few. Several have patios and live music. There is so much to see & do !
There is so much to see & do ! From the quaint must walk around downtown area ;including the marina with boat tours. to the many places to shop or eat on the way to beach.Like the mny antique stores. You also have several choices of places to stay or eat that are right on or accross the street from the beach. Each has thier own unique style .The beach in Sept was busy but not too crowded.
