Everything exceeded my expectations! The hotel is absolutely stunning from the modern architecture to the luxurious interiors. The facilities were top-notch: the infinity pool, gym, and restaurants were exceptional. The staff were incredibly professional, kind, and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The location was also perfect, with amazing views of Colombo.

It's sad that there are so many scammers present especially in the gem department , please be cautious of well dressed people with umbrellas walking and being extremely helpful they work with the tuk tuk drivers and are on the payroll of the gem outlets , they will state it's your lucky day as it's the Buddha's holiday and the places are having a 50% on day sale, etc some scrap spill like that , then a tuk tuk will pull up and he will encourage you to go there for 200 Rupesh. Use extreme caution we nearly got taken for $3000, but went to the police and had it sorted , wasted a day I could have been home and enjoying my break

1 Day in Colombo is ok.
1 Day in Colombo is ok. We didn't like our 2 days trip in Colombo. However, We had an amazing 10 days in Sri Lanka, exploring Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Mirissa, Galle, and Bentota—every place was beautiful, and the hospitality at all the hotels was outstanding.
People in other cities are amazing, but in Colombo it was totally opposite. I would recommend to start your tour from kandy or sigriya and visit all above places and finish the tour with 1 day stay in Colombo.

Half a day in Colombo is enough for sightseeing.
Half a day in Colombo is enough for sightseeing.
The Red Mosque's visiting hours are around 1:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.
Also, the Lotus Tower's elevator fee seems quite expensive, and it's not worth it.
One negative point is that at some tourist spots, there are people who try to take you around for sightseeing. Be careful and don't trust them, as they might ask for a lot of money later, even though they initially say they don't want anything and just want to accompany you.
The area near Galle Face is nice for a relaxed evening stroll if you have some free time.

Colombo is a vibrant well located city on the coast with some very good restaurants (Gini and Gallery Cafe) and shops (Paradise road and Urban Island). It is perhaps a little spread out for sightseeing on foot.

Loved our stay in this beautiful house. TJ and his staff were fantastic and made stay here very comfortable. TJ was a mine of very interesting information on Colombo and the history of this house. We were fortunate enough to stay when the house was used for wedding photography which gave us an unique insight to Sri Lankan weddings. We were served Sri Lankan breakfasts by Dilshan who explained all the dishes to us and don’t forget to take a dip in the pool.
The hotel is in a very central location in Colombo, near all the main attractions. It features a beautiful pool which comes in handy if you want to relax after arriving. The staff was nice enough to allow us to use the pool before our check in time.
The breakfast buffet is extremely well stocked with international and Sri Lankan options.
Fabulous hotel, very friendly staff and exceptionally clean. The room was amazing and they had literally thought of everything that you could need even supplying an iron and ironing board in the room. The buffet for breakfast and in the evening was fantastic and one of the best we experienced on our travels around Sri Lanka.
Fantastic Hotel in Colombo, all the staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful, food was first class as were the drinks. We are in Sri Lanka for nearly three months and by the time we get home in early April we will have stayed at this hotel.
Beautiful place with a very nice host! One of the best I stayed in in the whole of Sri Lanka. Would recommend to anyone spending a few nights in Colombo
