Coimbatore is nice place. People are soft, friendly and respectable. Climate is mostly good Tasty Sirvani dam water. Within 3 hours drive you have lots of tourist places like Ooty, Masinagudi tiger reserve, Bandipur, Pollachi, Udumalpet ,Valparai, Erode. I hope that many people will see my post and be informed. I made my booking through Booking.com. I had booked a room in Hotel Fab Snow Drops Coimbatore form the 3rd to the 5th of June. On arrival at the property, i had made payment for mying entire stay there. However, on the 4th i had received a message form my office ask me to return back as something urgent had come up that i needed to handle. I had informed the hotel that i would like to checkout on the 4th as it is an emergency. I was informed by the hotel and Booking.com that as per their policy, i am not entitled to any refund for the cancelled days of my stay. I sent a message to Booking.com requesting them to look into the matter and initiate a refund of my money. It turns out that these bastards are based in the UK and operate out of there. They have partners like Fab who front them and in partnership, they cheat people. Any one who reads this post, be warned that Booking.com are a bunch of fraudsters and their partner in India Fab, are even bigger frauds. They will come up with excuses, schemes and policies which you will obviously no be aware of at the time of making your booking. They very cleverly cheated me of my money and when i lost my cool and called them a bunch of motherfuckers, which i think they are. They listed me as being abusive and dangerous. They are not aware of how abusive and dangerous i am about to get. I have initiated legal action against them, had soon the shit will hit them. Coimbatore is always a lovely place to be at.
Coimbatore is always a lovely place to be at. Warm people and a great culture to relish. My personal favourite is Isha Ashram, which I visit often, and also some of the places to dine like Anandhas and Sree Annapurna, while you are in the city. This time around, I also happened to visit the Gass Museum, which was very impressive if you are interested to know more about the flora and fauna with their well-researched and documented space, in the midst of a serene forest department campus.Guest review byJaykumarIndia - Review score

Wonderful city with everything gettable as in a Metro withing a close and accessible surrounding. Be it a tour for anything, religious, business, holidaying, Malls and so on, nice destination. Cool climate, Ooty very nearby. Bhavani, Satyamangalam, Ooty, Palakkad, Anakatty, Marudhamalai, Pollack all around.Guest review byR
