We liked the contemporary design of the unit, and the small scale of the hotel. The artwork in the room and public spaces was tastefully chosen and highlighted local artists. Our queries were addressed promptly, courteously and satisfactorily.

Harrington House Picton in Picton provides adults-only accommodations with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden.

I felt very well cared for by the staff and the amenities, tea, coffee, yogurt and apples, that were available in the kitchen. My room and bath were clean and fresh. The breakfast vouchers were great! I had my first poutine, albeit a vegetarian breakfast version minus the sauce or gravy. It was yummy, as was my omelette from the day before at the Lighthouse Harbour Inn just a short walk from the Harrington Inn.

Picton and Prince Edward County is suitable for short stays, ~4. Some of the attractions are not open in the winter. The location's activities are heavily skewed towards three-season summer activities. The Royal Canadian Navy archives are in Picton as well as a huge number of books on naval and boat things. I found it easy to spend a half day there.

Picton is a great town to stay in if you are visiting Prince Edward County. There are great restaurants in town and the surrounding area. Picton is close to many wineries, and parks as well. You can stay in town and walk every where.

The restaurant at Merrill House has an amazing chef. We had an outstanding dinner and breakfast. Food was like music in my mouth. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The Inn is a beautiful old mansion with cool modern art. Pictor has a lot to offer and so close to many attractions. Would recommend lake on the mountain, sandbanks and waupoos winery.

To be honest, there were not much restaurant so, the price is a bit higher and difficult to find the place during the pick time. There is one steak restaurant recommended by hotel, I had horrible experience. The price is very high comparing the portion of the food and unfriendly staffs. (I prefer the KEG) For the next time, I don't want to make the hotel reservation in Picton. I would suggest to go to Kingston instead.

It's a nice place. Nice and clean.

It's a nice place. Nice and clean. It's an old house, so the floors squeak. Not a big deal. It is a self check in and check out. I know there were "owners" there, we saw them when we arrived, but that was it. The phone left as contact did not answer. Emails about early check in were not replied. We checked in about 2 ours early and it was fine. Simple room (yellow rrom - twin bed and private bathroom) but they didn't mention the bathroom was in the hall, not in the room.

Staying at The Cape was wonderful! From the very moment my wife and I stepped in, we were immediately taken aback by how special we felt, being recieved with such warm reception. Jake especially made it easier for us to make good decisions on where to go for dining and entertainment - really giving us a great Picton experience! The breakfast was also incredible with fresh locally sourced ingredients.

Comfortable house, both inside and out. Proximity to the town of Picton, super walkable. Short drive to Sandbanks, wineries, Glenora Ferry and other attractions. Comfortable house, air conditioning worked well. Beach towels were even provided saving us from carrying a load from home. Kitchen is well stocked and the house was very clean.

The Hotel is very unique: very old fashioned and is very clean and good maintain at the same time: huge territory, fantastic garden. Our room was very clean, the breakfast absolutely good and tasty, service is very good. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open on Tuesday, but the breakfast was amazing.
