Conveniently located on North Terrace opposite the New Royal Adelaide Hospital and South Australian Bio-Medical precinct, Adelaide Riviera Hotel is a 10-minute walk from central Adelaide.

I had a great stay at the Adelaide Riviera Hotel. The location is one of its biggest highlights — just a short walk from the main shopping area, which made it easy to explore the city and do some shopping without needing transport. The airport bus stop was only a few meters away, which was super convenient for both arrival and departure. There’s also good food nearby, with several restaurants and cafes just around the corner, and a lovely garden area close by for a relaxing walk or a quiet spot to enjoy a coffee. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful

Adelaide: Australia's Undiscovered Gem

Scratch the surface of Australia’s undiscovered gem with its blend of wonderful beaches, wide boulevards and extensive parklands including the Adelaide Botanic Garden. The City of Churches chimes to the beat during festival season with the Adelaide Festival of Arts, Adelaide Fringe and WOMADelaide.

The River Torrens flows through the city from the surrounding Mount Lofty Ranges. The Adelaide Hills features The Cleland Conservation Park that includes a wildlife park where you can pat koalas and Mount Lofty Summit with its panoramic views of the city. Hahndorf, with its German history, is another highlight.

The coast has some fantastic beaches. Historic Glenelg is Adelaide’s favourite local playground and further south are the wide open shores of Aldinga where you can drive your car on to the beach.

There are few better multicultural markets than the Adelaide Central Market or choose from a host of marvellous museums and art galleries, some having free entry. The picturesque and historic Adelaide Oval is a favourite for sports lovers.

Booking.com has accommodation in the city or visit surrounding areas like the Barossa Valley, Flinders Ranges and Kangaroo Island.

Plenty of open spaces. Good town centre. Bit disappointed with lack of cafes on the Torrens River. Which was beautiful. Overall a lovely city. Went to the potato safari park, disappointed. Hahndorf is well worth a visit.

Nearly all attractions (museums / arts centres) free within the city. Transport by bus and train within the city was free - outside of main city square very easy to get transport - very walkable city and extremely well maintained gardens completely surround the major city area. Very well catered for sight seeing tours and easy to get online bookings. So many alley ways full of food options, central market/china town amazing variety of food.

Adelaide is a well laid out City; relatively small compared with home city of Sydney. It has a a good respect for history & culture & is not at all crowded. Adventures in close proximity to the city are all around you. It’s just a lovely vibe being there.

I lived and loved Sydney for 65 Years, still do. But since moving to SA I have found that Adelaide is just the prefect size not too big and not too small. I am constantly wowed by how beautiful it is, how more relaxed it is and on top of that the food is great.

Walking around the River Torrens and through Linear Park was beautiful. Lounder's Boatshed Cafe on the Torrens is worth going to for a coffee or lunch. Adelaide has so many great restaurants and cafes to visit and is a very walkable city. The State Library is worth a visit, especially the Mortlock building. Such a unique library.

It was the most beautiful industrial designed hotel. Very elegant, perfect bathroom with a nice sized room which included a great view of the city. The location is perfect for anyone wanting Adelaide CBD just a short walk to most things. The staff were lovely people and super accommodating. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better breakfast was included. We enjoyed a delicious meal and drink from the restaurant downstairs which had a very wide range of options. An amazing experience and will be sure to return.

Hotel is very conveniently located and has most of the facilities one would expect of a hotel in Adelaide's CBD. I like the easy of parking, as well as the ease of getting around the hotel - 3 lifts means you don't have to wait long to get to the area of the hotel you wish to go. The room I stayed in was nice and clean and bathroom was surprisingly large. Staff are friendly and polite and I like that room service is available.
