We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

Very comfy beds with crisp bedding. Home cooked dinners were delicious and the brekkie was lovely too. Great value for money! Thanks Janet and Sean, will definitely visit again!

We were absolutely blown away by the hospitality during our stay. The cottage was perfect – spotless, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped. It truly felt like a home away from home. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, especially for our 10-month-old son. She thoughtfully provided a cot, baby bath, and high chair, and even went out of her way to prepare breakfast for him – such a kind and personal touch. Speaking of breakfast, it was absolutely divine! The location is peaceful, beautiful, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. We would love to stay again and can't recommend this place enough!

Berghouse and Cottages is situated in a rural setting, high up in the Northern Drakensberg Hills, 30 km from Bergville. Free WiFi is available in each cottage. This place is stunningly located on top of a hill with an excellent view of the Drakensberg range. Great service with good food and a super nice pool.
