Reception was very personable. Great work out room as well as a wonderful large hot tub and pool. The room was lovely and I noticed even the corners were clean which speaks to a great cleaning staff. Bar service and Breakfast were great and Desai made great scrambled eggs. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance as well. Management, went above and beyond to offer assistance when needed. Overall, the staff was exemplary. A few renovations are planned for. I would most certainly return and do recommend this hotel.

I've stayed at this Kimptom several times because I absolutely love it. The JOURNEYMAN is one of my favorite hotels and I always look forward to staying there when I am in MKE. I want to shout out the staff on check-in, as my travel partner unexpectedly to cancel plans the day of check-in due to a family situation, which meant uncoupling the 2 rooms that were being held on the reservation. The staff could not have been more helpful, gracious, and accommodating. The rest of the stay was great, as per usual.

This was the perfect spot for us - we were able to walk to the Pabst History tour, which was fun and entertaining, the Deer District, and the MKE Public Museum. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and our room was quiet, spacious, and comfortable. We had dinner at the on-site restaurant, On Tap, and the food and service there was excellent.

Great location across from MKE airport (close enough to walk if you're so inclined). It's a perfectly adequate hotel. A bit of faded elegance -- looks like it was built in the 80's and still has the dated carpet and decor to match that era. But as far as value (includes breakfast), location, and comfort, it's great for all of those.

The Plaza is a classic and cozy European style hotel, in a great location near downtown MKE. The full kitchenette is an added bonus and so convenient! The staff is genuine and very responsive to questions and concerns. Brunch at the Cafe is not to be missed!

Easy and convenient location to MKE airport. The pool was heated very well. Plenty of food/coffee options within walking distance of hotel. Room was very clean. However I wouldn’t plan on spending more than a night here.
