We stayed one night at The Runway Lodge in Pointe Larue (May 4–5), simply to be close to the airport—and it turned out to be more than just convenient. This small, charming pension delivers a warm welcome and genuine hospitality that makes even a short stay feel pleasant. It’s not a destination in itself, but as a last-night stopover before catching an early flight, it ticks all the boxes: clean, comfortable, friendly, and just a stone’s throw from the runway—minus the chaos. Ideal for travellers who prefer peace over panic before boarding.

Victoria Clock Tower noktasına yaklaşık 10 km mesafede yer alan ve dağ manzarası sunan Touchdown Villa tesisi bahçe ve balkon olanağı ile konaklama imkanı sağlar. We stayed here for one night. - As the name suggests, it's a very big villa. Very huge property. - The owner was very friendly and she will offer a taxi service from the ferry (with good rates compared to what you see online). - We came 2 hrs earlier, although we were not able to check in, we were allowed to keep our luggage inside. We paid through credit card. After check-out, we kept our luggage outside of villa as our flight was in the night 10PM. (It was safe to keep luggage outside). - The property is huge, so you have multiple spots to chill and relax. In the outside, there was balcony on ground floor and 1st floor, also seating space in the backside of the villa. - The kitchen is huge, so is the living room (Kitchen could have been more clean, but not major issue). There are 2 washrooms, 1 in ground floor and another in the 1st floor. - A big thanks to the owner as they have a continuous running water filter, so you can have lot of drinking water availability. Kitchen was very well equipped. ( Although it was tricky to use the gas stove ( we couldn't use), be sure to check with owner how to operate during check in, Thankfully, we didn't need it, as we used the electric pot rice cooker to heat some things up). - It is close by to the airport which is a major positive. Location (read carefully) : - Close to the bus stand. (We used public bus during our stay). Also, it is close to a super market. During check-out, we even walked back to the airport from the property. - The property is very, VERY steep ! I am a hiker and a fit person, I could walk from the bus stand to the property, and the walk in itself was a good hike ;) - If you are not fit, you cannot walk from bus stand to the property. Don't take this lightly. - DO NOT THINK, you can carry/push trolley to the property from the bus stand. IMPOSSIBLE. You need a car to come to property with luggage !

I really fall in love with this house, so huge and cozy, if I would have more time I would make there photo session, and owner let me with fresh coconut, bananas, water, and also he provided everything for washing clothes etc🤩

The cottage was very well maintained. The staff was very helpful. Overall had a wonderful time.

Pointe Larue'de yer alan Chez Payet Airport Guesthouse, barbekü olanakları ve teras sunmaktadır. Tüm odalarda mutfak ve özel banyo bulunmaktadır. Tesiste ücretsiz Wi-Fi erişimi sağlanmaktadır. Good location near the airport. Nearby is also a small grocery shop which is very useful. The bed was very comfortable and thanks to double windows there is almost no sound coming to the bedroom from outside so it is possible to get a good sleep. Very friendly hosts and 2 cute dogs 🤗 We also got help with getting a taxi in the morning to the airport. It was a good experience, I recommend.
